About The Role

The Import/Export Analyst will be responsible for the complete administration of the internal customs inventory control system, the database of inventory control, and for obtaining any necessary information to perform analyses on the discharge process.

General Responsibilities

Key participant in computing duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported/imported to/from foreign destinations
Collaborate on examining invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations
Key participant in the discharge process for materials and components temporary imported into through the inventory control system bimonthly
Key participant in the discharges process for machinery and equipment imported temporary through the customs inventory control system
Review, audit and perform appropriate corrections to information contained in the master catalog to keep information accurate and correct at all times
Organize and validate local classifications of parts and materials to reconcile with local broker information

Experience / Qualifications

A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
