About The Role
As a Test Engineer II (4/10 Fri-Mon 2nd shift) here at Honeywell Aerospace, you willl play a crucial part in facilitating acceptance testing, providing clear direction to test technicians, and supporting troubleshooting efforts. Apart from close collaboration with the test team, the individual will work alongside cross-functional disciplines to address complex issues, ensuring seamless test execution.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location.
In this role, you will impact the overall success of our engineering teams by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and safety in aviation.
- Acceptance testing (functional and environments)
- First responder during test failures
- Failure investigation and troubleshooting
- Clear guidance and direction to test technicians
- Setup test benches and equipment
- Test equipment troubleshooting
- Support to cross-functional integration and development
- Documentation (test plans/procedures, test reports, test requirements)
- Process improvement
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum of 1 or more years experience in test engineering or related field.
WE VALUE
- Experience with environmental (rate tables, shakers, thermal chambers, etc.) and general-purpose test equipment
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Excel
- Experience working in test lab environment with technicians
- Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions
- Experience in technical writing and presentation
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
