About The Role

Design, integration, and implementation of platforms in a service provider environment. Perform technical development, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management, and API design, using modern development languages and technologies. Provide technical consulting to management, business users, and technical associates and works closely with other developers as a mentor and can operate with autonomy, and leadership beyond baseline experience. Provide input and direction to solutions for client requirements. Identify and implement both technical and process improvements and solutions. Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Design application and database components for large-sized development projects. Maintain and modify services and web applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Provide support for critical web application problems and issues. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems. Ensure maintainable solutions are delivered through use of proper software craftsmanship techniques. Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks. Handle project and task management and reporting. Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups. Train and share knowledge with development teams. Schedule and lead project and communication meetings with clients.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics or related science field and four (4) years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, Engineer or related role where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following

4 years of IT experience.
4 years mainstream development experience (Node/JavaScript, Java, .NET, etc.); Java preferred
4 years of experience working with Database Management Systems
4 years of demonstrated experience with object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD).
Experience designing and developing microservices
API development and distributed services experience
Extensive Experience with modern microservice frameworks & technologies, Spring Boot.
Extensive Experience with full-stack web application development.
Extensive Experience with Containers and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) technologies and concepts.
Extensive Experience leveraging modern cloud providers.
Extensive experience with Domain Driven Design methodologies.
Extensive Experience with Test Drive Development (TDD).
Extensive Experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources across environments.
Extensive Experience with API and microservice development using Java Spring Boot and object oriented design principles.
Extensive Experience with containerization and environment consistency using Docker.
Extensive Experience with cloud native application development and deployment on Microsoft Azure.
Extensive Experience with NoSQL database design and development using MongoDB.
Extensive Experience with source code management and collaboration using GitHub, including pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies.
Extensive Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub Actions.
Extensive Experience with automated testing and parallel test execution using Selenium Grid.
Extensive Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance visualization using Grafana and Checkly.
Extensive Experience with agile work management using Jira, including Scrum and Kanban boards, workflows, and reporting.
Extensive Experience with technical documentation and team collaboration using Confluence.
Extensive Experience with development productivity using JetBrains IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA.
