As a Steward , you’re the behind-the-scenes team player who keeps the kitchen and heart-of-house running smoothly. You’re hands-on, reliable, and not afraid to get stuck in, whether you’re keeping the dish area under control, cleaning shelves and fridges, organizing the canteen, or making sure cleaning supplies are always topped up. You work closely with the kitchen team, supporting the chefs with simple tasks when needed and helping create a clean, organized, and efficient environment for everyone. You may not always be in the spotlight, but you’re an essential part of making the whole operation work.

About you…

• Keeping the dishwashing area clean, organized, and running smoothly during busy service.
• Washing and organizing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Cleaning shelves, storage areas, fridges, and freezers to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
• Keeping the canteen clean, tidy, and welcoming for the team.
• Organizing and rotating products in fridges and storage areas according to food safety standards.
• Refilling cleaning products, paper goods, and other essential supplies when needed.
• Supporting the chefs with simple kitchen tasks such as basic preparation, fetching ingredients, or keeping work areas organized.
• Keeping waste areas clean and ensuring rubbish and recycling are handled correctly.
• Helping with opening and closing cleaning routines across kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
