Department of Chemistry

Position Summary

Carry out research in flow synthesis engineering.
Convert greenhouse gases into high valued.
Guide and problem-solving engineering issues.
Responsible for harnessing the unique capabilities of our pressurized temperature-controlled photo flow reactors.
Designing and engineering the flow reactor to accommodate both gas and liquid substances
Devising methods to adapt and implement our existing batch reaction conditions into the flow reactor systems.

Qualifications

Enthusiasm for high-impact, hard tech solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience and Education

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering; heterogeneous catalysis; chemical reactors; analytical techniques; mathematical modeling.
Experience developing innovative chemical/mechanical systems and processes.
Experience with gas flow, fluid flow and fixed bed technologies.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving with engineering that has led to new product capabilities and better production efficiencies.
Expertise with design and simulation software tools.
