About The Role
Purpose of the Job
Take ownership of a portfolio of fund clients and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality financial reporting. You'll develop deep expertise in fund structures, financial statements and NAV production, working closely with clients, auditors and industry professionals to meet important reporting and regulatory deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to build strong technical accounting knowledge, contribute to complex fund operations and support the delivery of exceptional client service within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities 
- Manage the financial reporting requirements for a portfolio of fund and fund-related entities, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and NAV calculations in accordance with client, regulatory and accounting standards requirements.
- Develop an understanding of fund structures, transactions and reporting obligations to support effective financial reporting and client service.
- Establish and maintain reporting processes for new and existing funds, ensuring efficiency, consistency and compliance.
- Partner with administration teams to ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely processing of fund transactions.
- Work closely with clients, auditors and other stakeholders to coordinate reporting timetables, resolve queries and support audit completion.
- Attend client and board meetings to present financial information and provide accounting-related insights where required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and the consistent delivery of high-quality service.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or able to demonstrate equivalent accounting expertise through relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards, including IFRS, UK GAAP and/or US GAAP.
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, management accounts and NAV calculations within the funds, financial services, private equity, real estate or corporate sectors.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting and accounting systems.
- Ability to interpret complex financial information, apply technical accounting principles and deliver accurate reporting outcomes.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, auditors and internal teams.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery.
- Adaptability and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
