Job description

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual ready to learn the ropes of processing, scanning and printing analog photos at Lomography´s photo lab at its Vienna HQ! Help, learn and take over more responsibilities after your internship is over!

As an intern for the LomoLAB at Lomography, your duties will include

operate a minilab (film development, scanning, image processing, printing)

customer service for film services

servicing the Minilab

communication with service technicians

help with stock / consumption / order management of material needed

perform backend operations for online lab fulfillment such as order checks and photo uploads

assist other tasks during slow times in the lab, like film and development tests, hand-spooling film, repairs and marketing the LomoLAB

Job requirements

Please note that this internship requires EU-citizenship (mind transitional provisions), citizenship in the European Economic Area, Swiss citizenship, Working Holiday Visa or a standing work permit for Austria.

basic knowledge of analogue photography

detail oriented and independent working style

willingness to learn and improve processes

communicative

good language skills German and English

ideally you are a *skilled craftsman not afraid of hands on work around the house

Additional plus

  • basic Photoshop & Scanner knowledge
  • operational & technical knowledge of [Fuji Frontier] Minilabs
  • experience with Epson flatbed and other film scanners
