Traveling Technician (50–60 Hours/Week)
If you thrive in the fast-paced environment of 500k+ sq. ft. distribution centers and don’t mind the travel, this is the role for you. We’re looking for a hard-working Technician to coordinate daily tasks with the Foreman, operate 40ft+ lifts, and keep our installations on track. We offer steady OT and the chance to run crews on some of the biggest builds in the country.
We seek self-motivated and reliable technicians for service and special installation projects, who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. Qualifications
- Some low-voltage, data cabling, or construction experience preferred
- Willingness to learn Cat6 and fiber termination standards
- Comfortable working at height and in large warehouse environments
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic hand tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel extensively and work 50–60 hour weeks
Key Responsibilities May Include
- Pull, route, and dress Cat6 and fiber cabling in large warehouse environments
- Assist with paging, wireless/AP cabling, cameras, and access control cabling
- Assist with terminations, labeling, and testing
- Install basic cable supports such as J-hooks and innerduct
- Work from ladders and lifts at height under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow Lead or Foreman direction and site safety requirements
