We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Process Worker to join our production team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader/Production Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include

  • Operating molding presses and other production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Setting up molding presses in accordance with job cards and production requirements.
  • Preparing molding blanks and metal components for production.
  • Applying adhesives to metal parts.
  • Operating clicker presses, extruders and mills.
  • Trimming, inspecting and identifying defective products.
  • Packing and palletising finished products.
  • Completing production paperwork, including timesheets.
  • Assisting with the storage of raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintaining clean and organised production and storage areas.
  • Following all workplace health and safety procedures and safe work instructions.

Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday 5am – 1:06pm

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Basic mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to read and understand workplace safety procedures written in English.
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Previous manufacturing or related industry experience (desirable).
  • Be clean-shaven or willing to maintain facial hair at no more than 1–2 days' growth, as the role requires the use of a fitted respirator to safely perform certain tasks.

Working Environment

This is a physically active manufacturing role where you can expect to

  • Work indoors in a factory environment.
  • Stand for the majority of your shift.
  • Work around production machinery.
  • Be exposed to manufacturing conditions including noise, dust, rubber fumes, solvent fumes and radiant heat from molding presses.
  • Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, heat-resistant gloves and a fitted respirator where required.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, which includes

  • Drug and alcohol screening.
  • Audiometric (hearing) assessment.
  • Spirometry (lung function) testing.
