As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for achieving operational excellence in materials and planning systems by implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques. Your role will be essential in ensuring timely material supply, inventory control, and continuous improvement across the plant.

About the Job

  • Plan, control, and lead all activities within the materials and planning department.
  • Oversee and develop the team, ensuring alignment with plant goals.
  • Ensure production areas are properly supplied with the necessary materials to meet their schedules.
  • Monitor and control global inventory levels, leading optimization initiatives.
  • Apply Lean tools such as Kanban, FIFO, cycle counting, receiving and shipping processes to support corporate objectives.
  • Manage the supermarket concept and coordinate continuous material flow to production lines.
  • Support adherence to the plant’s production schedule and lead improvement activities like 6S.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to quality and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and policies that support cross-functional collaboration with production, logistics, and distribution.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Engineering) with training in planning, purchasing, and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in materials, planning, or related manufacturing functions.
  • Proven leadership managing large teams (17 professionals, 8 supervisors, and 2 managers).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong skills in conflict management, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9000, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001).
