T he Senior Process Improvement Specialist, Business Process Effectiveness, understands how business processes operate and ensures that they continue to meet customer and business demands. This role actively plans, leads, and communicates activities to ensure goals and objectives of key project initiatives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters, while constantly looking at the end-to-end processes and impacting customers and AMN overall.
Job Responsibilities
- Partners with department leadership and project stakeholders to support the successful execution of projects and initiatives focused on process improvement and operational effectiveness.
- Leads projects throughout the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, and change management.
- Develops and maintains project documentation, workplans, and supporting materials to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Schedules and facilitates project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions, including agendas, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Participates in solution design and develops process workflows for assigned projects and process improvement initiatives, identifying cross-functional impacts and opportunities.
- Prepares and communicates project status updates, risks, milestones, and key outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
- Supports the development and implementation of new workflows resulting from process improvement efforts, organizational changes, and business initiatives.
- Communicates with cross-functional teams regarding project progress, operational needs, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Facilitates Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to analyze current-state performance, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Leads process discovery sessions, workflow documentation, data analysis, and improvement workshops to drive operational excellence, increase efficiency, and enhance customer and employee experiences.

Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience
Certifications
- Six-Sigma - Green Belt (GB) - Black Belt (BB) (Preferred)
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) (Preferred)
Additional Experience
- Business operations experience
- Business analysis and process designs/documentation experience
- Enterprise systems implementation experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

Pay Rate
$82,000 - $97,500 Salary Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
