Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans
Assist patients with therapeutic activities and functional tasks
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Participate in care planning and contribute to positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current COTA certification
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
