About The Role

- Become a wizard of ARM processors and microprocessors - it's like coding for Raspberry Pi, but with a military-grade twist!
- Transform ordinary military vehicles into high-tech communication powerhouses. Think "Pimp My Ride" meets "Call of Duty"!
- Dive into the world of intercoms and networking products. You'll be the mastermind behind keeping our troops connected in style.
- Channel your inner MacGyver to retrofit tanks and armored vehicles with cutting-edge comms gear. Who said tanks can't be trendy?
- Flex your coding muscles on projects cooler than a polar bear's toenails. Your code will literally drive tanks and command posts!
- Join our hybrid work environment - toggle between your home base and our top-secret (okay, not really) electronics lab. It's like having two secret lairs!

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
If you have experience in the following areas, we want to hear from you
- Embedded development (C/C++)
- Software Development (C#)
- Web-based Development (Javascript,Typescript, React, Node.js)
- Git
- Linux and/or Windows development
- VS Code
- familiarity with AI/ML models

It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.
Compensation 
The expected hourly rate for this position is $23.08 – $32.41. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
