Senior Associate - Restructuring

About The Role
We are currently seeking an ambitious Senior Associate l to join our Restructuring team in London.
Kroll’s Restructuring practice aims to provide effective solutions to its clients. Our clients include major high street banks, asset-based lenders, private equity houses, accountants, solicitors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, corporates and individuals. You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging assignments, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills across a portfolio of cases, principally Administrations, Liquidations and personal insolvency appointments, as well as offering advice and guidance to organisations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and discuss with the manager issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters
- Use IPS case management system for all cases, proactively addressing upcoming diary events as appropriate
- Visit client premises/offices and liaise with client stakeholders and their professional advisors, as required
- Assist in the pursuit of targets and conversion of opportunities, including the preparation of proposals and tenders
- Provide supervision of/delegate work to more junior staff and assist juniors with queries
- Draft non-standard correspondence and statutory/template correspondence
- Draft of information memoranda, liaise with interested parties in respect of sale of business and/or assets
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years’ insolvency experience across administrations, liquidations (CVL and WUC), and personal insolvency appointments, with a focus on investigations, litigation and contentious insolvency matters
- Commensurate knowledge of Insolvency Act and Rules relating to the above procedures
- Qualified ACA / ACCA or training towards achieving these qualifications (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
- Experience working with diverse teams
