We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Payroll Advisor to join our Head Office team in Auckland.

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll
  • be responsible for administering our weekly apprentice payroll and providing outstanding support to apprentices, host companies and internal stakeholders.
  • This is a varied role where accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Managing payroll data, reporting and audits
  • Responding to payroll and timesheet enquiries
  • Processing pay adjustments, reimbursements and leave transactions
  • Supporting apprentice completions and terminations
  • Providing support and training on TimeFiler
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll and employment legislation
  • Contributing to process improvements and projects

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years' payroll or administration experience
  • Knowledge of NZ payroll and employment legislation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
