We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Payroll Advisor to join our Head Office team in Auckland.
About the Role
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll
- be responsible for administering our weekly apprentice payroll and providing outstanding support to apprentices, host companies and internal stakeholders.
- This is a varied role where accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Managing payroll data, reporting and audits
- Responding to payroll and timesheet enquiries
- Processing pay adjustments, reimbursements and leave transactions
- Supporting apprentice completions and terminations
- Providing support and training on TimeFiler
- Ensuring compliance with payroll and employment legislation
- Contributing to process improvements and projects
What You'll Bring
- At least 2 years' payroll or administration experience
- Knowledge of NZ payroll and employment legislation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate Excel and computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A positive, proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
