Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in finance consulting specialise in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals.

As a finance consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad understanding of various aspects of finance consulting. Your work will involve providing comprehensive guidance and support to clients in optimising their financial performance, improving decision-making, and achieving their financial goals. You will be responsible for analysing client needs, developing financial solutions, and offering recommendations tailored to specific business requirements.

About the role

Imagine helping some of the world's most complex organisations reinvent how they plan, budget and forecast — using the leading planning platform in the Oracle ecosystem. As a Manager in our Finance Solutions – EPM team, part of the Digital Core Modernisation practice, you'll be a lead specialist on high-profile Oracle EPM Cloud Planning programmes, guiding finance functions through the design and deployment of intelligent, high-performance planning solutions.

This is a role for an EPM/FP&A practitioner who loves the craft of finance transformation and wants to lead from the front — shaping solutions, advising senior Finance and IT stakeholders, and orchestrating mixed onshore/offshore teams. You'll sit at the intersection of finance, data and AI, with the chance to actively build your expertise in Gen AI and Agentic AI as those capabilities become embedded in the way we plan.

If you're energised by solving real finance problems with great technology — and want to be part of a team that's setting the pace in the market — we'd love to hear from you.

What your days will look like

  • Leading the design and delivery of complex Oracle EPM Cloud Planning implementations (PBCS / EPBCS / Planning Modules), translating FP&A requirements into elegant, scalable solutions.
  • Running business requirement definition workshops with senior Finance stakeholders — challenging thinking, shaping the target operating model and bringing planning processes to life.
  • Designing FP&A processes across revenue, workforce, OpEx/CapEx, cash flow forecasting and management reporting.
  • Architecting Oracle Planning within the wider Oracle EPM and ERP estate — Fusion ERP, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS, Narrative Reporting and OAC.
  • Bringing the latest Oracle AI capabilities into your designs — Predictive Planning, IPM Insights, OCI Gen AI and Oracle Digital Assistant.
  • Leading mixed onshore/offshore delivery teams, mentoring consultants and growing the next generation of Oracle EPM talent.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, contributing to proposals and helping shape our go-to-market.

This role is for you if

  • Deep, hands-on experience designing and delivering Oracle EPM Cloud Planning solutions for large, complex organisations — including Custom and Module-based Planning, business rules, Groovy, data maps, dashboards and Smart View.
  • A strong FP&A and EPM background, with proven experience designing end-to-end planning, budgeting and forecasting processes — revenue, workforce, OpEx/CapEx, cash flow and management reporting.
  • A track record of leading business requirement definition with senior Finance stakeholders, translating business needs into platform capabilities and challenging thinking where it matters.
  • A business and finance process-oriented mindset that brings technology, data and finance together with confidence.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
