About the role
As a Resource Officer, you will help ensure the right people are deployed to the right opportunities at the right time. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams and onshore resourcing teams, you will support resource planning, workforce analysis and capacity management to enable effective project delivery and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills while contributing to strategic workforce decisions in a fast-paced and growing business.
What your days will look like
- Produce and analyse workforce and resource management reporting, providing insights on utilisation, capacity, deployment and operational performance to support business decision-making.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of workforce planning data, performing quality checks and updating key systems to support effective forecasting, budgeting and resource deployment.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact to communicate resource needs, manage priorities and support successful delivery.
- Identify resourcing risks and process improvement opportunities, using data-driven insights and technology to enhance efficiency, improve reporting and drive operational excellence.
This role is for you if
- You have experience in workforce planning, resourcing, recruitment, project management or a related operational role within a professional environment.
- You are a confident communicator who can build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all levels of the business.
- You can manage competing priorities, work across multiple workstreams and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.
- You are comfortable working with systems and data, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; experience of workforce planning tools would be beneficial.
- You have excellent attention to detail and can maintain accuracy when handling high volumes of information and reporting.
- You are proactive, resilient and solutions-focused, with the confidence to manage expectations, escalate risks when needed and continuously seek opportunities to improve.
