About The Role
Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.

Programme overview
Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.
- Throughout the programme you will:
- Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business
- Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience
- Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
- Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career
This internship provides practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in the Wealth Management sector.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for interns who are passionate about Wealth Management, resilient in a dynamic environment, and eager to build lasting relationships with clients from all walks of life. You will excel if you are analytical, proactive, and truly client-focused, with the curiosity to keep learning and the confidence to communicate with integrity and empathy. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, be interested in world events and markets, and have a strong desire to solve problems, innovate, and help clients reach their financial goals

- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex data using critical thinking, identify errors and draw meaningful insights.
- Broad awareness of world events, enabling you to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and articulate your reasoning.

The team
Cazenove Capital is the dedicated Wealth Management business of the Schroder Group in the UK, renowned for providing specialist financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, charities, and their advisers. Leveraging the investment expertise of both Cazenove Capital and Schroders, as well as carefully selected external providers, we deliver leading portfolio management, banking, and investment advisory services. Our longstanding client relationships and commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity have established us as a leader in private wealth management.
As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience through core areas of our Wealth business. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work closely with clients, and develop a strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and client relationship management.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for
- When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028
- We welcome applications from all degree subjects
- Please note that we do not accept applications from students in their final year who intend to undertake further study (e.g. a Master's degree) before entering employment.
- A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A healthy interest in the benefits of AI and how emerging technologies can support client service, efficiency and innovation
- The ability to understand our target audiences
