  • I. Job Summary
  • Handles incoming service orders, by using WM proprietary software to manage same day ticket routing as well as preparing all routes for the next day.
  • II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Designs and re-designs routes for next day and throughout the day by reviewing routing principles to maximize fleet usage to drive efficiency and cost savings. Leverages collection, verification, and analysis of real time data relating to existing routes, vehicles, disposal facilities, and productivity to ensure same day routing is complete
  • Responsible for all routing of Commercial, Residential, Rolloff Container & POL work for specific sites
  • Responsible for splitting routes for Commercial, Residential, Rolloff Container & POL work in the instance of callouts or lack of staffing
  • Determines the daily level of driver staffing to ensure efficient service is provided to our customers- responsible for ensuring Resource Center is accurate in all tabs, working with RM’s to ensure kronos schedules are correct and current
  • Assigns service tickets to appropriate drivers throughout the day - manages and determines route actions and assuring route completion using route principles to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues
  • Additional duties as needed
  • III. Qualifications
  • A. Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 6 months relevant work experience with working in a team setting, with the ability to communicate to several areas effectively
  • Bilingual (French and English) - Spoken & written - We require a bilingual speaking router because this role requires frequent interactions and communications with employees, customers and others who are located outside of Quebec.

B. Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited)

Must live and work in Canada.

☒ Combination: This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

Pay : The expected base pay range for this remote position is $58,500 - $62,500 . This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This position is for an existing vacancy.
