About The Role

At Intertek, we are currently looking for an experienced COMPEX Inspector to join an industrial project based in Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain.

The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections and verifying electrical equipment and installations, ensuring compliance with the technical, regulatory, quality and safety requirements applicable to the project.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out COMPEX inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
Verify the correct installation and assembly of electrical equipment.
Review technical documentation, certificates and inspection records.
Identify, report and follow up on deviations and non-conformities.
Prepare inspection reports and monitor corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality and maintenance teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, standards and electrical regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance regarding COMPEX-related matters.

Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience working as a COMPEX Inspector on industrial projects.
Solid knowledge of industrial electrical installations and equipment.
Experience in inspection, quality control and installation verification.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, regulations and industry requirements.
Previous experience in industrial, petrochemical, chemical, energy or construction projects is highly valued.
Availability to work on-site in Torrelavega, Cantabria.
