[What the role is]

As an Assistant/Senior Assistant Engineer with the Water Supply Network Department, Distribution Main (Renewal) Section, job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

[What you will be working on]

• Evaluate water main laying schemes and cost estimates for works submitted by consultants.
• Manage project implementation as project officer, overseeing all on-site pipelaying matters from commencement through to completion, including scheduling, safety checks, and related matters.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, agencies, and other stakeholders during the planning and implementation of pipelaying projects.
• Process works orders and verify contractors' progress claims for payment.
• Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Board.
