Health and Safety Technician - Level II

We are looking for a talented Health and Safety Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety preferred.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

The Safety & Environmental Technician at Cummins/Meritor plays a key role in fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This position is responsible for supporting safety and environmental programs through audits, compliance monitoring, hazard identification, incident prevention efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior EHS experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to positively influence employee behaviors through coaching and engagement. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an active CPR certification and OSHA 30 certification.
