Job Description

Area Sales OfficerPiramal Pharma Limited is seeking an Area Sales Officer to drive sales and market share growth within an assigned territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and effective customer relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products within the designated territory.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market reach and increase product penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products and gather market intelligence.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing regular feedback to management.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers within the assigned territory.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, expense reports, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product launches as required.
  • Manage product samples, promotional materials, and other sales tools effectively.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and healthcare industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
