What You Bring to Cambia
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Operational Technology Management, Computer Science, Operations Research, or an equivalent related field, plus 7+ years of job-related work experience, including 2+ years in healthcare and healthcare business processes — or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL coding (Toad, DBeaver, Snowflake, etc.), ETL tools (Talend, DBT, etc.), and reporting tools (Tableau, Sigma, etc.)
- Familiarity with relational databases and client-server concepts
- Proven ability to perform complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision and manage large-risk, complex projects independently
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and debugging
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear design specifications and technical documentation
- Skill in negotiating solutions and building consensus among stakeholders with competing Business Intelligence needs
- Advanced knowledge of program evaluation concepts, including effectiveness analysis, measurement, and reporting
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
- Solid oral and written communication skills, including presentation and technical writing
- Knowledge of healthcare and healthcare business processes a plus
What You Will Do at Cambia
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, programs, and analytical models that meet the needs of business partners across Cambia Health Solutions
- Write clean, well-documented code and configuration using approved technologies to implement business requirements
- Develop and execute tests to validate accurate implementation of business requirements
- Actively manage a Local Analytic Workspace (LAW) or Collaborative Workspace (CLAW) to support Health Plan Operations' analytic and reporting needs
- Proactively identify issues, communicate concerns to management, and apply knowledge of cross-departmental operations to drive effective solutions
- Participate in peer review processes and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Mentor and assist team members and internal business partners to build collective capability
Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure/certifications; and performance history.
Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $92,650-125,350, the full salary range is $87,000-142,000 and the bonus target is 15%.
North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $101,853-137,801 and the full salary range is $90,435-149,219.

We are happy to offer work from home options for most of our roles. To take advantage of this flexible option, we require employees to have a wired internet connection that is not satellite or cellular and internet service with a minimum upload speed of 5Mb and a minimum download speed of 10 Mb.
