Revenue Accountant - Dublin - Hybrid

As a Revenue Accountant in the Finance team you will assist in revenue recognition, forecasting, reporting and reconciliations and be responsible for a portfolio of projects and recognise revenues across the organisation’s departmental structure.
What you will be doing
- Review and analyze revenue recognition for clinical trial contracts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand contract terms, milestones, and amendments that impact revenue.
- Prepare and maintain revenue schedules, reconciliations, and comprehensive supporting documentation.
- Provide well-organized revenue recognition evidence during external audits.
- Drive process and system improvements that streamline revenue accounting and reporting.
- Update financial systems with contractual arrangements, staffing plans, and delivered milestones.
- Prepare monthly revenue reports comparing actuals vs. forecast, including clear variance analysis.
- Perform regular reconciliations between contracts and revenue recognized.
- Assist with monthly reporting (forecast, backlog, utilization) and provide meaningful insights.
- Ensure revenue recognition complies with SOX requirements, including controls, documentation, approvals, and filing.
Your profile
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Big 4 Trained or Industry experienced)
- Financial analysis experience(interpreting data, terms, comfortable in Excel).
- Demonstrate an ability to balance own work in an efficient manner and to work with a high degree of own initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- A collaborative mindset and curiosity to improve processes and drive accuracy.
