Are you passionate about building a culture where resilience, security and preparedness are part of everyday decision-making? SP Energy Networks is looking for a Cyber & Resilience Culture Lead to shape and drive our resilience culture programme across IT, Operational Technology and critical business services.

What you’ll be doing

This is a unique opportunity to influence behaviours, strengthen organisational resilience and help ensure our people are ready to respond to an evolving risk landscape. Working across Cyber Security, Operational Technology, Communications, People, Risk and Business Leadership teams, you'll play a key role in embedding resilience into the way we work.

You'll lead the development and delivery of SPEN's Cyber and Operational Resilience Culture Programme, creating engaging awareness campaigns, learning initiatives and communications that inspire lasting behavioural change. From resilience-by-design principles and leadership engagement to workshops, exercises and organisation-wide campaigns, you'll help build a culture where resilience is understood, valued and consistently demonstrated.

The role combines strategy with delivery. You'll develop long-term culture roadmaps, coordinate awareness activities, measure engagement and maturity, and use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. You'll also support regulatory and assurance activities, helping to ensure resilience responsibilities are embedded across the organisation, and embedded lessons learned.

What you’ll bring

. We're looking for a proactive and driven individual with experience in cyber security, operational resilience, communications, organisational development, learning and development, or a related field. You'll bring a strong understanding of resilience principles, experience delivering awareness or culture programmes, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging and practical messages.

Knowledge of the NIS Regulations, the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and resilience best practice would be highly beneficial. Experience within Energy, Utilities or other Critical National Infrastructure sectors is also desirable.
