This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by assisting the shift Production Supervisor of the packaging area.

Below is the available shift schedule

• 2 nd Shift (Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM)

• Overtime is available/required.
• Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!

Responsibilities

• Assists the Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team members
• Communicates with other departments consistently to ensure efficient workflow
• Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate
• Maintains production logs to accurately record downtime/issues. Completes all paperwork accurately
• Utilizes SAP software
• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area
• Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules
• Works in other areas as required by business needs

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in a lead role or similar position directing others
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
• Ability to climb steps/ladders
• Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, gloves)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Pay Rate

$28.36/hr - $29.14/hr
