Brown & Brown is seeking a Vice President, Head of Investor Relations to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL!
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Investor Relations leads the Company’s investor relations strategy, external financial narrative, analyst engagement, and executive communications on financial performance and long-term value creation. This person is a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership, ensuring investors, analysts, rating agencies, and other external stakeholders have a clear and accurate understanding of Brown & Brown’s business model, financial results, strategic priorities, and long-term growth profile. By reducing information asymmetry and strengthening market confidence, this role will support a lower cost of capital, stronger valuation multiples and increased shareholder value over time.
How You Will Contribute
- Partner with the CFO, senior leadership and chief marketing officer to develop and communicate the Company’s investor relations strategy, equity narrative, financial outlook, and long-term value proposition.
- Lead the quarterly earnings process, including earnings release preparation, investor presentation materials, conference call scripts, Q&A preparation, and post-earnings investor feedback summaries.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Brown & Brown’s financial performance, operating model, organic growth, margin performance, capital allocation, M&A strategy, and shareholder return profile.
- Build and maintain financial models, peer benchmarking tools, analyst consensus tracking, and market intelligence dashboards that inform CFO and senior leadership decision-making.
- Engage with sell-side analysts, monitor sell-side analyst models, consensus estimates, investor sentiment, and industry trends to anticipate questions, risks, and opportunities.
- Support and engaged directly with investor targeting, outreach, conference preparation, non-deal roadshows, and investor meetings in partnership with the CEO, CFO and other senior leaders.
- Plan and execute large-scale investor engagement events as appropriate, coordinating content, logistics, and executive participation.
- Support equity and debt capital markets transactions, and annual shareholder engagement communications, including investor education, roadshow materials, and market feedback, in partnership with Treasury, Corporate Finance, Communications and Legal.
- Prepare the CFO and executive leadership for investor, analyst, Board, and rating agency interactions through briefing books, talking points, and Q&A documents.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Corporate Secretary, Communications, M&A, Tax, and business leadership to ensure consistent and accurate external messaging.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications leadership to ensure the Company’s financial narrative, brand positioning, and external messaging remain consistent and mutually reinforcing across investor, media, and public audiences.
- Contribute to public company disclosure materials, including investor presentations, annual reports, proxy statements and news releases, in partnership with Legal, Communications, and Accounting.
- Translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, concise, and globally appropriate communications for investors, analysts, and the Board.

Skills & Experience to be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 15 or more years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, FP&A, equity research, investment banking, or capital markets.
- Public company investor relations experience, with direct exposure to earnings communications, annual reports, proxy statements, SEC reporting and investor engagement.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and benchmarking skills, with the ability to translate financial analysis into clear executive and external stakeholder communications.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations, financial narratives, briefing materials, and investor-facing communications.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential and potentially material non-public information.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience working with artificial intelligence tools.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credential. (preferred)
- Experience with earnings process management, analyst consensus tracking, shareholder targeting, or Board-level investor updates. (preferred)
- Experience using financial research platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar tools. (preferred)
- Exposure to SEC reporting, disclosure controls, corporate governance, or capital markets transactions. (preferred)
