Facility Coordinator - JLL

What this job involves: The Facilities Coordinator will provide support to the Site and/or Assistant Facility Managers with operational activities in maintenance and operations, accounting and finance, vendor oversight, equipment and supplies, and occupancy services. In this role, you will proactively develop and maintain client relationships to ensure that expected service levels are achieved. You are a Subject Matter Expert in building positive client and vendor relationships while ensuring overall operations are maintained at a high level. What your day-to-day will look like

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs and site inspections to ensure a clean, organized, safe, and fully operational office environment.
  • Respond to all work orders in a timely manner, scheduling and managing repairs, maintenance, and minor works to ensure KPI compliance.
  • Coordinate the delivery of site amenities and services, including fitness, food services, events, meeting facilities, mail/courier services, and office moves.
  • Provide clear direction and information to vendors, facilities staff, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of onsite work.
  • Assist in the procurement of vendors and maintain accurate site records, web pages, and official documentation.
  • Support client relationship management by complying with all contract requirements, meeting performance indicators, and delivering exceptional service based on client feedback.
  • Maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, after-hours emergency response, and environmental health and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and highly flexible.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, and move items as needed to perform daily job duties.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools, platforms, and email communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and critical facilities management.
  • Basic understanding of technical property systems, including HVAC, chiller systems, fire protection, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Experience or familiarity working with minor lab spaces.
  • Strong spreadsheet proficiency (Excel) and basic financial knowledge.
  • Solid hospitality experience with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Location: Miramar, FL (3101 Commerce Prkwy).
  • Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Flexible based on client needs)
  • This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
