What You’ll Do

As a Supply Planning Manager you’ll be part of our Global Planning team . In thi s r ole y o u’ll get to

  • Passionately drive continuous improvement culture while implementing the strategic roadmap to achieve breakthrough performance in service level, working capital, quality, delivery, cost and growth
  • Directly manage a team that is responsible for SL, WCT, NPD, Capacity, and Growth
  • Lead as the voice of the BU at S&OP, Capacity Planning, NPP, and Team Meetings
  • Regularly review % to Target, Workbench Capacity, Safety Stock, and plant schedules to achieve Service Level goals balanced with Working Capital Turns
  • Facilitate Operations Report Outs
  • Deploy Statistical Safety Stocks strategy from a systems (JDA) & process standpoint
  • Navigate the business through short supply challenges
  • Coordinate planning efforts and analysis for critical power tool component
  • Establish close relationships with Global Sourcing, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams
  • Analyze supply chain constraints and assist in developing localization strategies to drive working capital improvements
  • Manage component allocations globally across SBD network of manufacturing plants
  • Provide timing of product launches and component ramp plans.
  • Maintain a high service level to the customer

  • Strong cross-functional supply chain process knowledge
  • Advanced computer systems skill set & creativity (JDA, SAP, Excel, Access, Business Warehouse)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated attitude and character of Ownership and Initiative to overcome challenges
  • Effective project management skills and team leadership skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and have a passion for excellence
  • Ability to mitigate short term issues through prioritization and anticipation in a long-term planning environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

Desired Experience & Education

  • BS/BE Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field required
  • 6 + years of job experience with Supply Chain Management concepts; planning, forecasting, purchasing, production, inventory . At least 3 years of management experience.

The Supply Planning Manager is a key member of the Power Tool Accessories Group. This person will be responsible for planning the finished goods and global components across all BUs. They will be critical to leading KPI reviews, excellence, and standard work in planning, and managing projects that deliver the groups driving objectives , such as 98% service level, new product introduction, and capacity management.
