Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab
Job Type: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp | Days
Schedule: 8-hour shifts w/varied start times, On-call rotation 1 evening/week and Every 4th Weekend
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

More about our team
Join our Cath Lab team and provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. In this role, you'll assist with procedures, patient monitoring, charting, and procedural sedation while also cross-training in our Procedural Admission and Recovery (PAR) unit, caring for Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology patients. Enjoy a primarily Monday-Friday schedule with a shared evening and weekend call rotation to support urgent and emergent cases.
How you'll contribute
A Cath Lab RN who excels in this role
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

- What we're looking for
- Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
- Additional requirements include
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
