About The Role

The Junior Systems Engineer will join Cantor International Services Limited’s Enterprise Windows Services (EWS) team, handling day‑to‑day build, support, security and lifecycle management of our Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization estate, Microsoft 365, SaaS products and cloud services. The role blends operational support with project ownership and offers a clear path to become a subject‑matter expert and product owner, shaping long‑term strategy and vision.

Provide monitoring, incident response and ticket resolution for Windows Server, AD and virtualization infrastructure.
Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Ansible and AI‑assisted scripting.
Maintain and patch systems via SCCM, ensuring compliance and security.
Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, Nutanix and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments.
Administer Azure AD/Entra ID, AD Connect sync and PKI for identity and access management.
Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Power Platform.
Create and maintain documentation, promoting knowledge sharing and shift‑left practices.
Participate in and own project work across the technology stack.
Assist with cloud operations in Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Continuously upskill to become a subject‑matter expert within the team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
0–2 years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix and Hyper‑V.
Basic knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID, AD Connect and PKI concepts.
Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform).
Introductory exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; exposure to Ansible is a plus.
Understanding of SCCM patch management processes.
Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn, automate processes and take ownership of projects.
