About The Role
Summary
Responsible for stockroom inventory and stock locations, meet company deadlines, work toward standards of job assignments and work in a clean safe manner.
What You Will Do
- Record daily inventory and cycle counts, ensuring proper replenishment in proper areas as needed
- Accurately pull parts for work orders
- Operate forklift
- Move Truck Scale Material to designated locations
- Receive and deliver incoming products
- Unload Steel Trucks
- Able to climb on steel trucks to use unloading tools (straps and gantry)
- Unload certain parts outside with forklift (in all kinds of weather)
- Print receivers and attach to correct product before delivering and stocking of material
- Operate manual blast booth
- Operate 4-wheel blaster
- Complete projects as assigned by supervisor with minimal assistance
- Proper use of paperwork assignments
- Work with purchasing to resolve inventory issues.
- Maintain general organization (parts, material, etc.) of the department
- Cross-train in multiple areas within the department
- May provide training for others within the department
- Meet objectives outlined in the Safety Policy
What We Are Looking For
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
Knowledge
- Basic computer knowledge
- Intermediate math and counting knowledge
- Basic scale knowledge helpful
Skills
- Time management
- Strong problem solving
- Avery Weigh-Tronix will provide specific training for the following specialized processes:
- Hoist

- Manual/4-wheel blaster
- Power tool operation

Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to consistently use hands to assemble, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is consistently required to stand, walk, lift, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include normal vision. Other physical requirements include:
- Ability to physically move or assist in moving equipment
- Stand – 60% - 80% of time
- Walk – 33% - 66% of time
- Sit – up to 20% of time
- Use of hands – 100%of time
- Reach of hands and arms – 66%+ of time
- Climb or balance – 15% of time
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl – 15% of time
- Lifting up to 10 lbs – 20% of time
- Lifting up to 25 lbs – 20% of time
- Lifting up to 50 lbs – 5%of time
- Ability to wear all PPE designated for each job
Other abilities: Ability to follow instructions (English) from sources such as work orders, work aids, blueprints, sales orders and other employees. Good training retention. Must be able to collaborate with team members of all backgrounds in a positive & productive manner. Strong work ethic and self-motivation with minimal supervision. Ability to consistently report to station on time. Quality oriented. Required to follow all safety and company policy rules.
Availability: Desire to participate in voluntary overtime when offered. Ability to self-manage paid time off including proper requests and maintaining sufficient balance.

Pay Range: $23.34 - $24.50 per hour
