About The Role

Manulife is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Delivery Manager to join our Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) Technology team. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and capital markets, leading strategic initiatives across Collateral Management, Derivatives, Repo, and Securities Lending platforms. The successful candidate will partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, optimize investment operations, and drive measurable business outcomes. Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day product delivery activities across securities finance and collateral management initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to define, prioritize, and deliver strategic product enhancements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements for collateral, repo, securities lending, and derivatives platforms.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and product requirements.
  • Support Agile delivery practices including backlog management, sprint planning, PI planning, and roadmap execution using Jira and Confluence.
  • Track product financials, budgets, project health, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and present executive-level updates, steering committee presentations, and value-delivered summaries.
  • Lead functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities to ensure successful implementations.
  • Analyze data utilizing SQL, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions to support decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and leverage automation and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve delivery effectiveness.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across business teams, technology partners, vendors, and global stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Delivery, Business Analysis, Project Delivery, or Capital Markets Technology.
  • Strong domain expertise in Collateral Management, Derivatives, Repo, Securities Lending, and Securities Finance operations.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions and product features.
  • Proven experience working within Agile delivery environments and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze, validate, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience leading functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Knowledge of system integrations, data flows, and financial market infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and financial services workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, or Wealth Management organizations.
  • Experience using Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Agile delivery platforms.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation, digitization initiatives, and process optimization techniques.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Jira Rovo, Confluence AI, or related technologies.
  • Experience presenting to executive stakeholders, steering committees, and senior leadership teams.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, CBAP, or equivalent are considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between

$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
