About The Role
Operations Team Lead The Opportunity
Booz Allen is seeking a mission‑focused Operations Team Lead to unify, coordinate, and elevate the contractor workforce. In this role, you will direct operational delivery across multiple functional sections, including G‑3, G‑32, G‑34, G‑35, G‑37, G‑38, G‑39, and Global Force Management, ensuring Booz Allen provides synchronized, high‑quality support across the customer’s mission set.
You will shape daily workflow, reinforce Booz Allen delivery standards, drive cross‑directorate integration, and serve as the central conduit between Booz Allen leadership and senior government stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives in complex, joint, and multinational environments, and who excels at guiding large contractor teams under high‑visibility operational requirements.
What You’ll Work On
- Lead and manage the full Booz Allen G‑3 contractor workforce, ensuring consistent, high‑quality operational support and alignment across all supported directorates.
- Coordinate multi‑domain mission support functions, including operational planning, exercises, assessments, fires integration, information environment operations, and fiscal processes.
- Oversee delivery across seven directorates to ensure integrated planning, cross‑functional synchronization, and unified mission execution.
- Ensure workforce compliance with timekeeping, spend‑plan alignment, labor reporting, mandatory training, and task order requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Booz Allen and G‑3 government leadership, providing senior‑level operational updates, risk awareness, and workforce insights.
- Mentor and develop Booz Allen team members, fostering a positive culture, strong performance, and professional growth.
- Lead recurring contractor syncs and G‑3 team leader forums to communicate priorities, identify risks, synchronize tasks, and maintain unified operational direction.
- Coordinate surge requirements and integrate surge personnel seamlessly into ongoing staff operations.

You Have
- 7+ years of experience in military operations, joint planning, or mission integration
- 3+ years of experience leading teams of 30+ personnel
- 3+ years of experience supporting or working with the U.S. Marine Corps ( USMC ) , including with Marine Air‑Ground Task Force ( MAGTF ) concepts
- Experience using Micro sof t Office tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of joint operational environments and military planning processes
- Ability to brief senior military leaders with clear, compelling written and verbal communication
- Ability to work extended hours to support exercise execution
- Ability to travel to CONUS or OCONUS up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with the military, or 15+ years of experience with the military in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have
- 3+ years of experience planning joint exercises at a service component or Combatant Command level
- Knowledge of multi‑domain operations and NATO structures

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
