About The Role
The Insurer from Reuters , one of the leading sources of intelligence, analysis and events for the global (re)insurance market. As a Conference Producer , you will own and grow a portfolio of high-profile industry events, shaping the conversations that matter most to senior insurance and reinsurance executives while driving commercial success and audience engagement.
This is an opportunity to combine market research, commercial strategy and event production in a fast-paced environment where you will have significant ownership and accountability. You will work closely with sales, marketing, editorial and operations teams to develop market-leading conferences, strengthen client relationships and expand The Insurer's global events portfolio. This hybrid role is based in London and may require occasional travel to support events in Europe and the United States.
Key Responsibilities
As a Conference Producer , you will
- Lead the commercial success of a portfolio of conferences, delivering against revenue, attendance, quality and audience engagement objectives.
- Research market trends and emerging business challenges within the insurance and reinsurance sectors to develop compelling and commercially relevant event agendas.
- Develop event strategies, including positioning, content direction, audience growth and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor event performance and provide recommendations to improve commercial results, customer value and long-term growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, editorial and operations to ensure successful event
- Maintain high standards across event content, marketing campaigns and client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working within a commercial B2B conference or events organisation.
- Experience producing and managing large-scale conferences, event portfolios or commercially driven content products.
- Demonstrated ability to develop event strategies that drive revenue growth and audience engagement.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong research, analytical and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand customer needs and market dynamics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Knowledge of sponsorship, audience acquisition and event marketing strategies.
