Expert Shipper (Material Handler II)

Day in the Life of an Expert Shipper
As an Expert Shipper (Material Handler II) , you play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely shipments to our Export, UK, EU, and Special Account customers. This position is the next step in your warehouse career and requires a higher level of operational knowledge, ownership, and problem-solving compared to the Material Handler I role.
In addition to working with Oracle WMS , you will regularly use Excel, Oracle Forms, and email communication to process and coordinate complex customer orders.
At Fluke, you will gain experience handling a diverse range of products, including
- Lithium battery shipments
- Dual-use and export-controlled products
- Finished goods and spare parts
- Large pallet-sized calibration equipment
- Small precision components and accessories
This role offers excellent exposure to international logistics processes and special customer requirements within the EMEA supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders destined for both EU and export countries.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with shipping requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Provide agreed value-added services to customers.
- Support the onboarding and training of new Material Handlers.
- Assist Team Leaders and Troubleshooters in monitoring training progress and performance.
- Escalate operational issues and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
- Collaborate with other warehouse functions to meet service, quality, and productivity targets.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as required.
Your Team
As an Expert Shipper, you will work in a dynamic and international warehouse environment at the heart of Fluke's EMEA Supply Chain.

- Shipping & Distribution
- Inbound Operations
- Stock Control
- Warehouse Office Teams
- Team Leaders and Troubleshooters
Together, these teams ensure excellent service levels for both internal and external customers across Europe and beyond.
What We Are Looking For Experience & Qualifications
- MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education) level or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse shipping or logistics environment.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and warehouse administration processes.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Valid warehouse equipment certification and experience operating material handling equipment, such as stackers and EPTs.
