Job Description

Provides strategic and operational leadership for multiple business-critical programs within Experienced Advisor Recruiting (EAR), including recruiting events, organizational compliance and risk programs, and workforce onboarding and offboarding. Partners with EAR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify priorities, shape strategic agendas, make informed business decisions, and drive initiatives from planning through implementation. Accountable for program effectiveness, issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end management of EAR recruiting events, including VIP, Leadership Conferences, Search Firm Summit, and town halls. Establish program plans, timelines, roles, decision points, communications, registration processes, content requirements, onsite execution plans, and follow-up activities. Independently assess and resolve complex participant, field leader, candidate, vendor, and operational issues; balance business objectives, candidate experience, policy considerations, and resource constraints; and determine when escalation if warranted.
  • Partner with EAR leadership to develop and manage forward-looking agendas for senior-leader meetings and strategic forums. Maintain visibility into organizational priorities, identify emerging issues and decision points, recommend topics for leadership consideration, coordinate development of executive-ready content, and ensure decisions and action items are translated into clear ownership and execution. Connect related initiatives across EAR and enterprise partners to improve leadership alignment and organizational effectiveness.
  • Serve as the EAR lead and primary liaison for Business Unit Compliance Liaison (BUCL), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), ADTRAX submissions, and related governance and risk programs. Interpret requirements, assess organizational impacts, coordinate deliverables with compliance, risk, and business partners, maintain appropriate documentation, and drive timely completion of required activities. Partner with AMPI resources to manage the effective onboarding and offboarding of Recruiting Directors and Divisional Directors, resolve process issues, and ensure operational readiness.
  • Evaluate assigned programs and processes to identify pain points, operational risks, scalability needs, and opportunities to improve effectiveness. Develop recommendations, gain alignment from the appropriate teams and lead approved solutions through implementation and adoption. Establish consistent practices, tools, communications, and measures that strengthen execution while reducing the need for day-to-day leadership involvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5 to 7 years relevant experience required.
  • Demonstrated capability in standard office and project management applications - Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated program or project management experience, including ownership of multiple complex initiatives from strategy and planning through implementation, issue resolution, and ongoing improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including networking, conflict resolution, negotiating, and influencing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning and logistics.

Visa Sponsorship

Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $93,400 – $128,400 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
