Position Overview
Corpay India is looking to hire a Lead Financial Strategist within our Cross-Border division, supporting the payments line of business. This role works closely with business leaders, the Director of Financial Planning & Analytics, and senior management to deliver analytics and strategy that support sustainable revenue growth and customer retention.
What We Need
The Lead Financial Strategist is responsible for forecasting, modeling, and analysis that help identify risks, uncover opportunities, and enhance the sustainable profitability of the business. The role also supports business intelligence projects, prepares management presentations, and translates business concepts into meaningful, actionable analytics.
Stakeholder E ngagement and Problem Solving
The incumbent will facilitate design and concept-gathering sessions, engage key stakeholders, and help drive strategic initiatives and projects. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills are essential to identifying, communicating, and resolving issues effectively.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include
- C hampion process improvements and automation to enhance cycle times, accuracy, and executive management visibility.
- Collaborating with the different stakeholders and teams in managing strategic projects, delivering management presentations on key initiatives to the leadership team.
- Lead performance management routines and convert results into actionable plans with owners and due dates.
- Build scalable forecasting models and strengthen driver-based planning across functions or product lines.
- Modeling to evaluate ROI and perform due diligence for acquisitions and mergers, while also providing support for integration projects post-acquisition.
- C hampion process improvements and automation to enhance cycle times, accuracy, and executive visibility.
- Prioritize work and ensure delivery across competing deadlines and ad hoc requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- 15+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analytics
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Other requirements (nice to have)
- Project Management
- Experience in Consulting
- Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions
- Basic Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce)
- Microsoft SQL, Visio, SharePoint
- Contribute to strategic initiatives by offering financial expertise and analysis to assess investment opportunities and potential risks.
- A nalyze, track, and measure the impact of various ongoing revenue initiatives as part of the roles and responsibilities.
- Analysis of key metrics and trends proactively to support customer revenue retention and growth.
- Engage with essential stakeholders, senior management, and diverse levels within the sales organization to collect information and data points on key initiatives, facilitating the analysis of business performance.
- P repar e and distribute precise and timely financial and business reports that bolster the decision-making capabilities of senior management and executives.
- Identify opportunities and propose enhancements to existing processes, prioritizing increased efficiencies and the integration of value-added analytics.
- Implement best practices in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting to improve accuracy and reliability of forecasts.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to support revenue initiatives and analysis during the forecast and budget process as needed.
- Facilitate the design, development, and upkeep of new reports while ensuring the maintenance of necessary management reports.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
