Wells Fargo is seeking a Learning & Development Senior Manager to lead the successful implementation of required enterprise learning programs and support evolving business learning needs. Delivering on risk and control commitments, driving effective learning solutions, and ensuring regulatory and organizational requirements are met are key priorities for this role.

The Learning & Development Senior Manager provides strategic leadership for learning and development initiatives that support enterprise and business objectives. Responsibilities include partnering with senior leaders, content owners, subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize learning solutions that drive performance, support regulatory requirements, and enhance the employee experience. The role also oversees learning portfolio management, governance, resource planning, and the delivery of high-quality learning programs that address current and future workforce capability needs.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the end-to-end learning and development strategy for the Operations organization, aligning capabilities with business priorities and future workforce needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, Management Committees, and business leaders on learning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Transform and modernize the Operations learning portfolio, driving innovation, scalability, and measurable business impact.
  • Partner with instructional design and learning teams to develop strategic solutions that improve performance and advance business objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise learning and development programs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning to optimize learning investments and achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Leverage deep expertise across learning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness to influence enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Establish and enhance policies, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure effective learning operations and risk management.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and talent development that strengthens organizational capability and supports long-term business success.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Program Management, Product Management, and/or Project Management through previous roles, showing ability to move an initiative forward.
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise learning, leadership development, and talent management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders, Human Resources, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing learning solutions that drive measurable improvements in employee performance, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of talent management practices, including succession planning, leadership assessment, career development, and workforce capability building.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale learning transformation initiatives, including modernization of learning portfolios, digital learning, and future skills development.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams while managing multiple priorities in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to measure learning effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and learning resources to deliver strategic talent development outcomes efficiently and effectively.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
