About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated S enior Cloud Network & Security Engineer to join our Global Network Architecture & Engineering team. This role is focused on designing, securing, automating, and evolving next-generation network services across a large global enterprise.

Working across AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, and other cloud platforms, you will help define and engineer secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity spanning cloud, data centre, campus, branch, internet, SaaS, and hybrid environments. The role combines cloud networking, cloud security, internet edge services, platform engineering, network automation, and AI-enabled operations.

You will play a key role in shaping the firm's multi-cloud networking strategy, Zero Trust architecture, Cloudflare edge services, Infrastructure as Code adoption, and intelligent automation capabilities. This includes developing modern networking and security solutions, building automation platforms using Terraform, Python, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, and exploring AI-driven and agentic approaches to improve network operations, investigations, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve global cloud networking services across AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, GCP, and other strategic cloud platforms.
  • Architect secure and scalable connectivity across cloud, data centre, campus, branch, internet, and SaaS environments.
  • Develop multi-cloud routing and connectivity patterns using technologies such as AWS Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Azure Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and cloud interconnect services.
  • Engineer cloud security and edge services including WAF, DNS security, DDoS protection, Magic Transit, and Zero Trust access.
  • Build automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, Python, and cloud-native tooling.
  • Contribute to self-service networking and platform engineering capabilities that improve consistency, reliability, and speed of delivery.
  • Develop AI-enabled operational capabilities that support network investigation, incident response, change validation, observability, and workflow automation.
  • Define architecture standards, engineering patterns, and technology roadmaps for enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Partner with cloud, security, infrastructure, application, and operations teams globally.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex cloud, network, security, and automation challenges.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in enterprise network engineering, cloud networking, network security, or network architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure networking.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including routing, switching, WAN, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Experience designing or operating large-scale enterprise network environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud connectivity services such as AWS Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, Azure Virtual WAN, and ExpressRoute.
  • Experience with cloud security, internet edge, DNS, DDoS protection, WAF, or Zero Trust technologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Python, APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to create architecture standards, engineering patterns, technical documentation, and roadmaps.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cloudflare services such as WAF, DNS, DDoS protection, Magic Transit, and Zero Trust.
  • Experience with GCP or additional cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to platform engineering, GitOps, event-driven automation, or self-service infrastructure models.
  • Interest or experience in AI-enabled operations, AI agent workflows, observability platforms, knowledge systems, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience working in a regulated, global enterprise environment.
