GSOC Shift Lead

About The Role
Control Risks is looking for several dedicated GSOC Shift Leads to join a newly formed GSOC programme aligned to a global technology company, based in Singapore. The team will provide continuous 24/7 coverage of the client's operations in APAC and other global regions, and will operate on a rotational shift basis.
To be considered for these roles, candidates should be currently based in Singapore and hold full work rights.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct GSOC Analysts to ensure all tasks and monitoring/response activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Lead the shift to ensure a smooth operation, lead the handover between shifts, and be responsible for the quality of the work of the shift, take the initiative to spot problems and correct them in time.
- Use the company's internal communication platform to issue security incident notifications or early warning reports.
- In case of emergencies, respond quickly, coordinate task assignments, ensure proper handling and prompt escalation.
- Lead the response to incidents, coordinating between Analysts, and other relevant entities, and escalating as required.
- Support the Program Specialist / Team Lead to output reports.
- Responsible for proof-reading, vetting, ensuring quality control, and approval of GSOC products.
- Participate in operation process optimization, identify problems or risks in the workflow, submit improvement plans, and assist in solving them.
- Adapt to stakeholder requirements decisively by coming up with and giving direction to GSOC Analysts.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., EHS, HR) on global risk events and incidents.
- Provide training, guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to GSOC Analysts.
- Perform the role of a GSOC Analyst, as needed.
Requirements
- University degree or above and 2+ years GSOC experience including at least a year in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Proficiency in global risk event monitoring, OSINT tactical intelligence, security systems and devices, and incident/emergency response protocols
- Work proactively, with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness, and the ability to lead the shift during daily operation.
- Able to remain calm and professional under strong pressure, with strong decision- making skills, and able to provide guidance to Analysts in emergency situations.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to lead a team effectively and ensure the accurate transfer of information across shifts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that critical information is delivered clearly and on time.
- Ability to train and coach operators, including the conducting of drills.
- Proficient in using office software, with good document writing skills and data analysis skills.
- Can adapt to the 24x7 hour working schedule, including holidays.
