About The Role

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

-

  • Support and improve manufacturing processes, production methods, and workflows to enhance productivity, product quality, and workplace safety.
  • Select and optimize manufacturing processes, design production line layouts, and develop assembly and testing fixtures and equipment.
  • Lead production teams during pilot runs and support initiatives to improve first-pass yield and process capability.
  • Manage the introduction of new manufacturing equipment and support production line setup and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and implement automation and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials for operators and production leaders.
  • Partner with quality teams to investigate, address, and prevent manufacturing and quality-related issues.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality, reduce costs, improve productivity, and support operational excellence objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and manufacturing improvement projects.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process improvement, production line development, or related engineering activities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and production line layout design.
  • Experience developing, improving, or supporting manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Ability to analyze technical challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer-focused outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • Approximately three or more years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or production environment.
  • Experience leading pilot production runs, process validation, or new product introduction activities.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies, smart manufacturing, and IIoT applications.
  • Experience applying Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement tools, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Experience creating process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Knowledge of assembly and testing processes in an industrial manufacturing environment.
