About The Role
The role
This is a senior sales leadership role with responsibility for driving the Applications sales strategy and execution across the Danish market. The successful candidate will lead the sales organisation, develop strong executive customer relationships and bring together the wider capabilities of Oracle to create customer value and deliver sustainable business growth.
The role requires a leader who can combine strategic market thinking with disciplined sales execution: setting direction, developing talent, building pipeline, engaging personally in strategic opportunities and creating strong alignment across Oracle's broader organisation.
What you'll do
- Lead Oracle's Applications sales business in Denmark, setting the sales strategy and direction for the market.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing sales organisation, creating clear accountability and a strong performance culture.
- Develop and execute the country business plan, translating market opportunity into territory, account and go-to-market priorities.
- Own pipeline and forecast management, maintaining strong opportunity qualification and sales execution discipline.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives across strategic customers and prospects.
- Personally engage in the most strategic and complex sales opportunities, helping teams navigate stakeholders, competition and customer priorities.
- Work across Oracle's Applications portfolio to connect customer business priorities with relevant Oracle solutions.
- Collaborate effectively across Oracle, bringing together sales, solution engineering, customer success, marketing, partners and other relevant teams around customer opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with Oracle's partner ecosystem and identify opportunities to increase market impact.
- Build effective demand-generation and market engagement plans in partnership with relevant internal teams.
- Represent Oracle Applications with customers, prospects, partners and other relevant stakeholders in the Danish market.
- Attract, develop and retain strong sales talent and build the organisational capability required for future growth.
- Ensure the sales organisation operates with strong business discipline and in accordance with Oracle's applicable processes and policies.
What you'll bring
- Significant leadership experience within enterprise technology, cloud applications, SaaS or another relevant complex solution-sales environment.
- A strong track record of leading sales teams and delivering business growth in complex, competitive markets.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategy, territory plans and go-to-market priorities.
- Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, including the ability to influence and support high-value strategic opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior and C-level customer stakeholders.
- Strong pipeline, forecasting and business-management capability.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing experienced sales professionals.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organisation and influence stakeholders beyond the direct reporting line.
- Strong commercial judgement, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to create clarity and momentum in a dynamic environment while balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
Preferred experience
- Experience within enterprise cloud applications or SaaS.
- Knowledge of the Danish enterprise technology market and established senior customer relationships.
- Experience leading sales across multiple application or solution areas rather than a single product portfolio.
- Experience working with partners and broader ecosystems to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. 5 or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
