About The Role
The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests.
Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 17th – Aug. 6th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN.
The Allied Solutions internship program is designed to provide undergraduate finance or accounting students with a comprehensive overview of the company’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture. As a Finance Intern at Allied Solutions focused on financial planning and analysis and corporate development activities, you can expect to work on a wide range of projects that give you the opportunity to apply finance and accounting principles to real world business problems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Support monthly financial performance reviews, including variance analysis, forecasting, and identification of key business drivers
- Contribute to the 2028 enterprise planning and budgeting cycle, partnering with FP&A and business leaders to develop the annual plan
- Gain hands-on corporate development experience by supporting financial due diligence, acquisition modeling, valuation, and financial impact analysis for potential transactions
- Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic and investment decisions
- Partner with the FP&A team on reporting and process improvements, including opportunities to improve efficiency and financial insights
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects for Finance and business leadership
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA )
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising J unior or S enior, pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and an interest in understanding key business drivers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; experience with other Microsoft Office applications
- Interest in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, and mergers & acquisitions
