Job Description

The Global Funds & Financial Sponsors (GFFS) team within the Global Financial Institutions Group is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager / Assistant Coverage Banker to support client coverage and business growth across fund sponsors and investors in the real assets sector, including real estate, data centres, infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, student accommodation, and hospitality.

Description

  • Support Senior Relationship Managers in managing and growing a portfolio of existing and prospective clients in Singapore and across the region.
  • Prepare credit applications, annual reviews, and other credit submissions, including financial analysis, credit assessment, facility structuring, and management of the end-to-end credit approval process.
  • Collaborate with product partners to identify and deliver appropriate banking solutions, including cash management, capital markets, treasury, derivatives, and syndicated lending products.
  • Manage client onboarding, KYC reviews, AML due diligence, and ongoing compliance requirements in accordance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Credit Risk, Legal, Operations, Loan Agency, Credit Administration, and Product teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and client servicing.
  • Oversee documentation and operational aspects of banking facilities and products.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Financial Institutions, Fund Finance, Real Estate Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or a similar client coverage or credit analyst role.
  • Strong credit analysis, financial analysis, and credit writing skills.
  • Good understanding of banking products and services, including lending, Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Treasury Solutions, and Capital Markets.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
