This Position reports to

Engineering Manager (Electrical)

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline of low to medium complexity. Each day, you will work on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also demonstrate your proficiency by applying basic design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts in your work.

The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite.

This role contributes to the Automation segment within the Energy Division in Bangalore-(Nelamangala) region in India , specifically for the Excitation business. Main stakeholders include Project Engineering, Design Engineering, Testing & Commissioning teams, Sales/Proposals, Customers, EPCs/Consultants, Vendors, and Site Installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
  • Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
  • Use checklists to perform design verification in accordance with applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role

  • Commitment to project engineering, with a focus on excitation systems.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in project engineering, with direct design experience using E3 or EPlan.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical design and engineering in excitation or LV drives
  • Keen interest in customer management.
  • Diploma or B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics, EEE, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
