About the role
Due to growth, we are seeking a Systems & Data Administrator to support our IT team. This is a full-time fixed-term role for 6 months is based in Christchurch.
About you
You'll be a recently qualified/graduate preferably in information systems, business analytics (or related subjects) and looking to kick-start your career. Ideally you will possess:
- Experience working in business systems such as ERP, HRIS/Payroll
- Familiar with business intelligence concepts, data modelling (Cubes, dimensions and hierarchies)
- Familiar with BI tools (Power BI tableau)
- Excellent Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables & data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
- Good numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Great communicator & team player
What you'll do
- Process system and master data change requests accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Manage user access, including account setup, changes, and deactivation in line with policy
- Maintain core system data (e.g. DFA, GL codes, cost centres etc)
- Ensure all updates are approved, recorded, and follow data governance processes
- Support data accuracy by checking for issues and escalating when needed
