Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
third-space-therapy · Remote, United States
About The Role
Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.
We're looking for passionate independently Licensed Therapists to provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — billing, insurance, credentialing — so you can focus on care.
Why clinicians work with us
- Full clinical autonomy. You carry your own caseload and practice under your own license, using your own clinical judgment and treatment approach.
- Complete flexibility. You set your own hours and availability, decide which referrals to take, and build the caseload that works for you — alongside your own practice or other work, if you have it.
- Administrative support. We handle insurance, billing, and credentialing, and clients book into the availability you set.
- Robust referral network. Build a diverse caseload through our connections with insurers, universities, and community providers.
- Remote practice model. Enjoy the independence of private practice with the backing of a group — from wherever you work.
- Paid per session. You're paid for the clinical work you deliver, at a competitive rate.
- Meaningful work. Make a real difference for Medicaid members and help close gaps in access to care.
What you'll bring
- A valid LCPC license in good standing in the state of Maryland
- A Master's degree in Counseling, with at least 2 years of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
- Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
- Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools
- A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus
We're looking for therapists who bring
- Confident diagnostic judgment across a range of presentations
- Skill in building treatment plans that hold up over the course of care
- A collaborative spirit to work alongside clients in achieving their goals
- Experience managing a caseload independently, including documentation and Medicaid compliance
