About The Role

Rockriver Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Inside Sales Rep for our dynamic sales team in Rockford, IL.

The Inside Sales Rep plays a critical role in driving sales success by supporting broker relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The position serves as a key liaison between internal sales teams and external partners, helping to streamline processes, maintain accurate data, and deliver timely and high-quality service.

Pay Rate : $20.00/hr. plus commission.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to phone and email inquiries from brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate and support sales activity by working with the team to submit competitive bids for business, including gathering requirements and tracking outcomes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for broker-managed accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent communication.
Maintain and actively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are tracked, updated, and progressed efficiently.
Perform accurate data entry, lead tracking, and reporting within CRM systems to support sales activity.
Other job related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a sales, customer support, or sales operations role
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Solid math and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
